Private Guitar Lesson Information & Policy Back when I was a beginning guitar player I took lessons from many teachers. With the exception of a couple of my very good teachers, I was never satisfied with the lessons I was given and from what my present students tell me, it has not changed much. I use to leave my lesson with pieces of paper that my teacher scribbled on and would be more confused then when I walked in. Does this sound familiar? You pay a lot of money for these lessons and you never get any better with your playing. If you would like to take guitar lessons from a very dedicated teacher who has affordable rates and will have you leave each lesson with an organized lesson plan then I am the instructor for you! I have a technique for teaching where my students can achieve very fast results. By studying from me you will gain knowledge in Technique, Scales, Chords, Arpeggio's, Theory, Songwriting and much more. My students gain confidence and learn how to stay focused while practicing. I teach all ages and believe you are never too old to learn. All you need is a guitar and the desire! I currently teach Electric & Acoustic Guitar lessons at my studio which is located in Feasterville, PA and Guitar Lessons at The Newtown School Of Music in Newtown, PA. My focused styles of playing are Rock, Fusion, Metal, Shred, Funk, Jazz and Blues! I also offer Recording Studio services to my students at a very low rate. Students can record their own full length CD's! Please email me to set up lessons. Payment must be made at or before the first scheduled lesson of the month. Please Note: If you cancel your first lesson of the month without the required 48 hours notice, you will still have to pay for that lesson on your next scheduled lesson in order to continue with your lessons. If you cancel on your first lesson of the month with the required 48 hours notice, you will be offered a make-up lesson, but will still have to pay your full monthly fee on your next scheduled lesson. *Students are encouraged to show up for their lessons on time. Lessons cannot exceed the 30 or 60 minute scheduled lesson time. This makes it unfair to other students waiting for their lesson. Student cancellations: If the student is absent for a scheduled lesson without 48 hours notice, the student will forfeit payment for that lesson. If the student cancels a lesson 48 hours prior to a scheduled lesson, a make-up lesson will be offered to the student that must be used within 30 days. If the student is unable to attend a make-up lesson within 30 days, they forfeit payment for that lesson. The teacher must be notified directly of cancellations by phone or by email. Make-up Lesson Allowance: Students are only allowed one make-up lesson per three months for cancelled lessons with the required 48 hours notice. Certain circumstances will be taken into consideration for additional monthly make-up lessons, although it is asked that you not abuse this privilege (forgotten dental appointments and the like do not qualify). An extremely bad illness and a death or tragedy within the immediate family will be an accepted circumstance. Teacher cancellations: If the teacher cancels a scheduled lesson, the student will be offered a make-up lesson. If the student is unable to attend the make-up lesson offered by the teacher, the student will get reimbursed for the cancelled lesson the following month. Each student must provide a phone number for the teacher to call and leave a message for cancellations. |
